IPCC Finds Failings in Police Investigation

The IPCC announced on 27th January the result of a long and far reaching investigation into Humberside Police and the St William Care Home Investigation . This concluded that a large number of failings had occured in the way in which the investigation was conducted compounded by the assumption of the police that all accused were actually guilty

considerable success both in the Courts and through engagement with Parliament . Ultimately the Panel did not continue as a casework body and all work is now undertaken by the solicitors and barristers involved .
